The Bio: In excellent condition for its age, this couch and chair combo was manufactured in Hickory, NC and featured 8-way tied spring work - something that can only be done by hand. It features oak arms and legs finished with dark cherry stain and wax made to withstand regular use in someone’s home.
Refurbishing steps:
Removal, cleaning, and softening of worn upholstery.
Replacement of old material with high-density foam and cotton batting.
Sanding and refinishing of all wooden components.
